[Lobo(로보)]는 1943년 7월 31일 미국 [Florida(플로리다)]주
[Tallahassee(탈라하시)]에서 [Roland Kent LaVoie(로랜드 켄트 라보에)]라는
본명으로 태어났다. [Lobo]는 스페인어로 은빛늑대라는 뜻이다.

 

미국사람 같지않은 얼굴과 긴 생머리에서 힌트를 얻을수 있듯이 프랑스계 인디언 혈통을 지닌 인물이기도 하다.

[Lobo]는 서정성 짙은 발라드로 70년대 국내 팝송 팬을 사로잡았던 가수로 [C.C.R], [Carpenters],

[John Denver]등과 함께 팝송의 시대 한복판에 서 있었던 추억의 인물이다.
